Since wood is a natural material, it naturally absorbs and releases moisture depending on the surrounding air and ground conditions. During wet seasons, surface moisture may form on the outside of the logs because our firewood is stored outdoors. However, when you store your seasoned firewood correctly, this surface moisture will quickly evaporate.
